The potassium in pumpkin aids in regulating blood pressure, improving muscle health, and assists in metabolism. It’s excellent in aiding in weight loss! Vitamin A is essential for eye health and aids in the prevention of night blindness and other eye degeneration. VItamin C is crucial for all around immune health. When it is combined with the other vitamins and minerals in pumpkin, it can prevent certain cancers developing. These antioxidants help destroy excess amounts of free radicals in your doggos body. Pumpkin can also improve your doggos skin and coat and reduce skin and hair shedding from the high water content in it. This high water content also makes pumpkins an incredibly hydrating treat for your doggos! As crazy as it sounds, pumpkins can cure both diarrhea and constipation! And don’t forget about the seeds! Pumpkin seeds contain omega 3 fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties! This can aid in dislodging kidney stones. Pumpkin seed powder is also known to prevent urinary incontinence! No more accidents on the carpet!
