Time oat!

Oatmeal is high in fiber and has an abundance of nutrients, minerals, and antioxidants! Vitamin B, is one of the many vitamins in oatmeal, this aids in maintaining a healthy coat. Oatmeal also contains linoleic acid, which is a type of omega-6 fatty acid that helps to keep your doggos skin strong and healthy. The soluble fiber in oatmeal helps to regulate blood glucose levels as well as irregular bowel movements, but remember too much fiber can cause upset stomachs! Moderation is key! Oats are also high in protein so your doggos started the day strong and ready for lots of playtime!

Not only is oatmeal a healthy additive for your doggos diet, it’s also great for dry, itchy, and irritated skin! Oats are considered a nervine, calming the nerves when necessary and stimulating their activity when needed. They can be used for naturally treating a variety of nervous disorders. You can use oats in shampoos and soaks, or even balms for their little paws.

And remember when feeding your doggos oatmeal, make sure it is cooked with water and no added sugars!

Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day!
